Distance Learning for School Year 2021-2022

In response to the July 15, 2021 Board of Education resolution, Waiakeawaena Elementary will be offering a distance learning option to families. If you are interested in applying for distance learning for the 2021-2022 school year, please call the school office at (808) 981-7200. Please note that all distance learning requests must be approved by the principal. Please also note that approval will be based on specific criteria.

School Breakfast and Lunch

All students at Hawaii's 257 public schools will receive free breakfast and lunch meals for the entirety of the 2021-22 school year, thanks to the nationwide waiver from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Federal funds will reimburse state education departments for meal costs.
