PTA Survey

The Kau Kau card fundraiser supports local businesses and our school. This year's goal is to fund a second hydration station for upper campus as this would allow more student use. We do however understand that we are in a unique economic situation and would like to get your feedback on whether or not this fundraiser is feasible. Would you be interested in participating in the PTA Kau Kau Card fundraiser this school year (2020-2021)? Click to take the survey.

Hawaii School Reopening Plan

Aloha HIDOE students, families, staff, teachers and leaders,

As we move forward in our commitment to reopen schools on Aug. 4 for the fall semester, we know that the delivery of instruction in Hawaiʻi, the nation, and the world, is going to look very different. Our HIDOE ʻohana has been diligently working on plans for the new school year, growing from this experience and applying lessons learned toward our commitment to equity of access and quality education. Class Assignment and Pre-Ordered Uniform Pick Up Changes

Our uniform pickup date has changed due to the late arrival of the shirts. For those who pre-ordered uniforms, we will be doing a drive-thru uniform pickup for grades K – 5 on Friday, July 24th from 9:00 – 1:00 in our staff parking lot. We will be allowing 4 cars to park by the cafeteria and the overflow will have to wait along Kilauea Avenue. The class assignments will be in the bag with your child's uniforms.

For those that did not pre-order uniforms, a tent will be located fronting the office on Kilauea Avenue to pick up class assignments for Grades 1-5 on Friday, July 24th from 9:00-1:00. You may also request for your child's class assignment to be emailed to the email address on file by clicking the contact tab on our website.

We thank you in advance for your patience as we must follow CDC guidelines. Please stay in your cars at all times & wear a face mask/covering. Lastly, if you need to purchase uniforms, you may go to EmbroidMe on Friday, July 24th from 9:00-1:00 or anytime after that from July 27th on.
