Lunch Menu Updated

The lunch menu has been updated for next week (May 27-31, 2019). Tuesday is now popcorn chicken with fries, Wednesday is a school made beef and bean wrap, Thursday is hot turkey with mashed potato, and Friday is cheese pizza with corn. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Waiakeāwaena's Honors Program Nominations

Waiākeawaena's Honors Program is now accepting nominations for school year 2019-2020 for students entering grades 3, 4, and 5. The nomination period will be open from Monday, January 14, 2018 through Friday, January 25, 2019. Families and teachers of students currently in grades 2, 3, and 4, who would benefit from a rigorous, project-based environment are welcome to submit a nomination form. Nomination forms may be picked up and returned to the main office. No late forms will be accepted. National Day of Mourning for President George H.W. Bush

All Hawaii public schools will be open on Wednesday, Dec. 5, and operate on normal class schedules. Federal offices will be closed for the National Day of Mourning for President George H.W. Bush. The United States flag and the Hawaii state flag will be flown at half-staff at all state offices, agencies and schools through Dec. 30, 2018.
