didn't wait till I know we really so it's important to prepare the child for not just academics but we really feel that here it's our responsibility to set the foundation that will carry them through they move on to intermediate high school and Beyond so we focus on the whole child meaning that not only academics but we look at building a good character and values those are the values of kaliyana for Iggy Koopa off coupon kids are rewarded for demonstrating the five value and we give out tickets copying good tickets and at the end of every quarter if they accumulated enough tickets to get to participate in the card being good incentive to make sure we seem demonstrating those are used in the classroom on the field you know so anybody can give a copy with you activity inside of the teachers so we kind of want to Foster that goes bye-bye you brought the school Community another thing we do is RTI which is a time when teachers post my group to give them targeted construction to give them extra practice and feel that they need help in and then I'll still we provide enrichment so when the teachers are meeting and data team we have the student in class is a car maker space technology and The Syndicate non-academic we also look at it like you as a person would you like to do what do you want to learn about you a lot of choice even from the after-school programs even the makers it's just a speech of the kids to come in the morning and it reset I mix Choice look like what do you want to learn about so we have everything from circuits the technology we started our attendance incentive program which is hashtag or GED which means on time every day so what it is it is the focus encourage and pray attendance at school for we do it at the end of every month we tally up the tenants and the cast in every grade level who has the highest percentage of on-time attendance they get a reward that they can feel safe and cared about and that the love learning and that they'll just be able to apply what they learn to everyday life the way that we love our students that we we look at them as individuals and keyboard I think that that gives them a place where they feel for me it really is about modeling good behavior good choices following the expectations that the school has said and as adults on campus and has been the leader has a ministrator it's my job or my responsibility tools model. For not only students but we're stop parents and family members and I think the values are what unites us and what brown dust and make it possible to do the work that we do everyday
